Hello, TexHoma Optimists!
I’m Tasha Todd Sheehan from Glen Rose, Texas, your 2026-27 TexHoma District Governor. I’m an educator, educational consultant, community leader, and passionate advocate for helping young people discover their potential and prepare for successful futures.
Optimist International is a very important part of my life. As a proud member of the Glen Rose Optimist Club, I have served as club president since 2021. I have held district leadership roles as Lieutenant Governor and Governor-Elect. I’m also actively involved in my community through the Chamber of Commerce, the high school choir booster club, Lions organizations, scholarship foundations, and other community initiatives.
At the heart of everything I do is a simple belief: every young person deserves someone who believes in them and an opportunity to discover what they are destined to be.
I’m excited for the opportunity to lead the TexHoma District and look forward to the challenges, but most importantly, to serve WITH you!
Lets plant some Seeds of Optimism and Grow Some Fields of Change this year!
In Optimism,
Tasha Todd Sheehan
District Governor, TexHoma District
